Decision reached regarding DEM Party candidate who posed for photo with HÜDA PAR candidate

The DEM Party Batman Provincial Organization has announced that Mayoral Co-Candidate Mehdi Öztüzün, who watched a match alongside the HÜDA PAR candidate, has been expelled from the party.

The DEM administration and the 'Batman Institutions Coordination,' which met today, announced in a statement that Öztüzün has been expelled.

The statement read as follows:

“At this stage, due to his attitude toward our party, our culture of patriotism, and the will of women, Mehdi Öztüzün no longer has any connection or relationship with our party and our institutions.

We announce to the public that Öztüzün is no longer our mayoral co-candidate.

We call on all patriotic people of Batman to unite around the DEM Party in the local government elections and to thwart all kinds of dark games against the smear campaign that all dark structures and those obsessed with personal ambition want to develop in Batman.”

Following the reactions, the DEM Party Batman Provincial Organization issued a statement announcing that the matter was being investigated by the party's relevant boards and called for calm.
