DEM Party members who will meet with Öcalan have been determined
It is alleged that permission will be granted for DEM Party representatives to meet with terrorist organization leader Abdullah Öcalan in İmralı. The DEM Party officials who will take part in the meeting have been determined.
DEM Party Co-Chairs Tuncer Bakırhan and Tülay Hatimoğulları had applied to the Ministry of Justice to meet with PKK leader Öcalan. Making statements on the subject, Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç had announced that they were evaluating this application and would respond at an appropriate time.
According to information based on Ministry of Justice sources, it is stated that granting permission for a meeting between PKK terrorist organization leader Abdullah Öcalan and DEM Party representatives is on the agenda. According to the report by Halk TV, it is stated that the names who will participate in the meeting will include Pervin Buldan, Sırrı Süreyya Önder, and Sırrı Sakık.
FACE-TO-FACE MEETING WITH ÖCALAN
It has been learned that the DEM Party has quickly conveyed its request for a face-to-face meeting with Öcalan to the Ministry of Justice. The Ministry of Justice is expected to respond positively to this request.
REMARKABLE STATEMENT FROM BAHÇELİ
Statements made by MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli on the subject have also sparked debate. Bahçeli stated that if Öcalan dissolves the PKK terrorist organization, he could be released. Bahçeli also expressed that Öcalan could make a call to dissolve the organization by speaking at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.
