The traffic of meetings that the DEM Party is conducting with political parties as part of the new resolution process, of which Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli is the architect, will continue in the new week. The 4-person delegation consisting of Sırrı Süreyya Önder, Tuncer Bakırhan, Tülay Hatimoğulları, and Gülistan Kılıç Koçyiğit will visit the MHP at 11:00 and the AKP at 14:00 within this scope. Both meetings will take place at the Turkish Grand National Assembly.

BAHÇELİ: "DEM'S SUPPORT IS IMPORTANT"

Before the second meeting the DEM Party will hold with the MHP, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli made a written statement regarding the process. Emphasizing the importance of the fight against terrorism, Bahçeli stated, "One cannot get anywhere with terrorism; there is no destination to be reached."

Evaluating the DEM delegation's contacts with different political parties, Bahçeli said, "The support that the DEM Party provides for a Turkey without terrorism is commendable." Furthermore, stating that he would not be able to attend the second meeting to be held with the DEM delegation, Bahçeli said, "My friends representing our party will convey our thoughts clearly and plainly. It is now time to completely remove terrorism from our lives."

On the other hand, Bahçeli gave a harsh response to the criticisms directed at the term "founding leader" he used for terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan. Stating that this title does not belong to them, he said, "Terrorist leader Öcalan, who founded and managed the PKK, is the founding leader of the organization. This is the truth, no matter what anyone says."

MESSAGES FROM DEM AND AKP REGARDING THE PROCESS

Important statements regarding the process also came from the AKP and DEM Party fronts. AKP Group Chairman Abdullah Güler, in his assessment on the Kanal 7 broadcast, stated, "Our primary goal is the complete laying down of arms and the dissolution of the PKK. This is our call."

DEM Party Co-Chair Tuncer Bakırhan, in his statement on TV 100, drew attention to the importance of mutual dialogue. Stating, "It is necessary to discuss this process with the person at the head of the executive branch. Not meeting is a major deficiency," Bakırhan emphasized that the process has certain requirements.

ERDOĞAN WILL MEET WITH THE DEM DELEGATION

Following all these contacts, eyes have turned to the meeting expected to take place between AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the DEM Party delegation. After Erdoğan gave the message "I will meet," the DEM Party had made an official appointment request.

Pervin Buldan, one of the names in the DEM delegation, conveyed that during a conversation they had at the Parliament, Erdoğan said to Sırrı Süreyya Önder, "It would be better to hold this meeting after the holiday; we have some preparations."
