Demirtaş hits back hard at Buket Aydın's comments on İmamoğlu: 'You're just a lousy news anchor'

In the footage that has gone viral, Aydın, who says she will not vote for Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, is seen saying the following:
“Selçuk Bey's talk about his candidacy for the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayoralty harms the government. Are you elevating Ekrem İmamoğlu this much? Is he such an important and valuable personality? Who is Ekrem İmamoğlu? A mayor…”

Economist Özgür Demirtaş, who commented on Aydın's footage via his social media account, spoke harshly. Stating, "You cannot talk like this to someone elected by millions," Demirtaş used the following expressions:
"You're just a lousy news anchor.
Who are you to talk like this against someone who has received the votes of MILLIONS of people?
You are a person who is terrified that your credit card limit will run out.
You cannot talk like this to someone elected by millions."
