It has been announced that the meeting between the DEM Party and Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç, which was previously planned but postponed, will take place tomorrow.
POSTPONED DUE TO HEALTH ISSUES
The meeting, which was originally scheduled for last week, was postponed due to health issues involving Sırrı Süreyya Önder, Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and Istanbul MP, who is a member of the DEM Party Imralı Delegation. While Önder's treatment in intensive care continues, Pervin Buldan, another member of the delegation, will also be unable to attend the meeting due to her hospital commitments.
NO IMRALI DELEGATION AT THE MEETING
According to information obtained from DEM Party sources, no representatives from the Imralı Delegation will be present at the meeting. The meeting will be attended by the DEM Party Group Deputy Chairs.
Speaking to Berfin Bayır from ANKA, DEM Party sources stated that the issue of a "new constitution" is not on their agenda for the meeting with Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç. Party representatives indicated that they would convey their demands to Minister Tunç, particularly regarding the Anti-Terror Law, the Law on the Execution of Sentences, and regulations implemented during the State of Emergency (OHAL) period.
