A detention order has been issued for social media influencer Deniz Sinan Demir on charges of "inciting the public to hatred and hostility or insulting" due to remarks made during a live broadcast.
The Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an ex officio investigation into social media influencer Deniz Sinan Demir on charges of "inciting the public to hatred and hostility or insulting", following allegations that he made severe insults against Sunnis during a live broadcast on an online platform.
It has been learned that a detention order has been issued for Demir.
