Detention warrants issued for 2 more suspects in Minguzzi case
In the investigation into the murder of 14-year-old Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi, who lost his life following an attack in Kadıköy, detention warrants have been issued for two additional individuals.
A new development has occurred in the case regarding the death of 14-year-old Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi, who lost his life after being subjected to a knife attack at a local market in Kadıköy, Istanbul.
Following a complaint filed by the Minguzzi family's lawyer, Rezan Epözdemir, the prosecutor's office has issued detention warrants for two more individuals.
WHAT HAD HAPPENED?
On January 24, 14-year-old Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi got into an argument with B.B. and U.B. at a local market in Hasanpaşa, Kadıköy, where he had gone with his friends to buy skateboard equipment. After the argument, Minguzzi was stabbed by B.B. and kicked by U.B. while on the ground.
Minguzzi, who was seriously injured, was taken to the hospital, and the attackers were arrested. Minguzzi passed away in the hospital on February 9. Subsequently, his grave in Bahçelievler was also vandalized. A lawsuit has been filed against the individual who damaged his grave, seeking a prison sentence of 1 to 4 years.
