Difficult moments in Istanbul! Rainfall takes citizens hostage
Following warnings from the Meteorological Service, rainfall began to show its effect in Istanbul starting this morning. The rain, which fell as downpours at times, caused difficult moments for citizens.
The General Directorate of Meteorology and the Disaster Coordination Center (AKOM) had issued a heavy rainfall warning for Istanbul.
The rainfall, which increased in intensity from time to time starting around noon, caused difficult moments for those in Taksim Square.
Some citizens caught in the rain in Taksim clung to their umbrellas, while others took shelter under buildings to wait for the rain to stop.
Those difficult moments for some citizens who were caught unprepared by the downpour were captured on camera.
