Dispute on the turf field ends in bloodshed

Sinanbey Neighborhood, Ahmet Akyollu Street in Bursa's İnegöl district was the scene of a striking incident today at 15:30. Syrian nationals Hasan H. (23) and Kuteybe M. (24), who had argued about three months ago over an alleged "foul" during a turf field match, had been unable to resolve the hostility stemming from that encounter. When the two parties met on the street, they began to exchange verbal barbs once again.

As the tension between them quickly escalated into a fight, Hasan H. wounded Kuteybe M. in the back of the neck with a knife he was carrying. Following the attack, Hasan H. fled the scene rapidly, while bystanders immediately notified health and police teams.

CONDITION OF THE VICTIM TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL IS CRITICAL

Kuteybe M., who received initial intervention from medical personnel, was transported by ambulance to İnegöl State Hospital. Examinations at the hospital revealed that the knife had stopped just 1 millimeter away from Kuteybe M.'s artery. It was stated that this close proximity prevented the incident from resulting in death at the last moment.

Following the incident, teams from the İnegöl District Police Department launched an operation to apprehend the attacker. Police, who are tracking the fleeing suspect, have also increased security measures in the area.
