SERVICES CONTINUE ON A SINGLE LINE
In the announcement made by the authorities, it was stated that services are being operated on a single line between Sirkeci and Üsküdar. The statement included the following: "Dear passengers, due to a distressing incident at the Üsküdar station, single-line operations will be conducted between Sirkeci and Üsküdar, and delays are occurring in Marmaray train services. We kindly advise our passengers to consider alternative transportation options to avoid being affected by the delays."
PASSENGERS OPTED FOR ALTERNATIVE TRANSPORTATION
Following the incident, some passengers were forced to change their routes. Especially those trying to get to work or school turned to different modes of transportation such as the metro, buses, and sea routes due to the disruption on the Marmaray.
