According to a statement made on Marmaray's official social media account, disruptions are occurring in services between Pendik and Maltepe due to an incident at Başak Station. It was reported that due to a vehicle falling onto the railway line, operations on this route can only be conducted using a single track.
DELAYS IN SERVICES
As a result of the vehicle falling, services between Pendik and Maltepe can only be operated on a single track.
Consequently, there are waits and delays on Marmaray trains. While travel times for passengers have increased, this situation has also drawn reactions from passengers on social media.
PASSENGERS WILL BE ABLE TO TRANSFER AT ATALAR STATION
The statement indicated that passengers will be able to transfer at Atalar Station to reach other routes.
