Tragic news has arrived regarding Narin Güran, who went missing in Diyarbakır on August 21. On the 19th day of the search efforts, Narin's lifeless body was reached.

Diyarbakır Governor Murat Zorluoğlu made statements regarding the matter.

Stating that Narin's lifeless body was found inside a sack, Zorluoğlu announced that the body had been hidden with stones.

Zorluoğlu said, “Following a tip-off, the lifeless body was reached in the stream bed.”

Zorluoğlu's statements are as follows:

"On Sunday, September 8, 2024, during the search conducted in the Eğertutmaz Stream passing near the neighborhood, the missing child Narin Güran was found dead at approximately 08:45, inside a sack at the edge of the stream, with her clothes on, and hidden with stones. According to initial findings, it is understood that after Güran was killed, she was placed in a sack and brought to the edge of the stream, where she was placed into the water, and covered with tree branches and stones to give it a natural appearance. Within the scope of the renewed search efforts, this area was searched again, and our missing girl's body was reached by the teams."
