DMM issues statement regarding salary claims that dominated the agenda
The Presidency's Directorate of Communications Center for Combating Disinformation (DMM) has issued a statement regarding reports claiming that "policy board members will receive a monthly salary of at least 101 thousand liras."
The Presidency's Directorate of Communications Center for Combating Disinformation (DMM) has announced that claims suggesting members of the Presidential policy boards receive a salary do not reflect the truth.
In the statement made from DMM's social media account, the following expressions were used:
The claim appearing in some media outlets that “Presidential Policy Board members will receive a monthly salary of at least 101 thousand liras” is not true.
No salary payments are made to members of the Presidential Policy Boards.
Do not give credence to claims aimed at manipulating public opinion.
