DMM issues statement on claims that Yaşar Güler left the commission

The Center for Combating Disinformation under the Presidency Directorate of Communications has issued a statement regarding the claim that Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler left the TBMM Plan and Budget Commission.

The statement from the DMM indicated that the claim, which appeared in some media outlets and was shared on social media accounts, that "Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler left the commission" is not true.

The statement included the following: "Due to the disruption of the meeting order at the TBMM Plan and Budget Commission, the session was adjourned by the Commission Chair, and Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler left the hall during the break. Minister Güler returned to his place in the commission after the break. The Ministry of National Defense will initiate legal action regarding baseless claims intended to manipulate public opinion."
