Dogs running onto the road cause two consecutive accidents

In the Kozan district of Adana, one person died and two were injured after a car hit a dog that ran onto the road and flew into a garden. A second accident, caused by another dog running onto the road in the same location, resulted only in property damage.

According to the information obtained, the accident occurred in the Delicay area on the Adana-Kozan highway. It is alleged that around 8:00 PM, a dog ran in front of the vehicle with license plate 01 AOA 921, driven by Fatih C., which was traveling from Adana towards Kozan.

CAR FLIPPED OVER MULTIPLE TIMES

The car, which hit the dog, flipped over multiple times and landed in a citrus orchard. The driver Fatih C., as well as Muhammed Emre C. and Mustafa Açık (65), were injured in the accident.

Mustafa Açık, one of the injured taken to Kozan State Hospital, could not be saved despite all interventions. The other injured individuals were transferred to Adana City Hospital after initial treatment. The dog that caused the accident also died.

In a second accident that occurred at the same location, while Kozan District Traffic teams were taking extensive security measures at the scene, another dog that ran onto the road caused the driver of a vehicle with license plate 34 FJM 821 to have an accident.
