Double murder in Istanbul: Shot in the back of the head

The horrific incident took place last night on the Beylikdüzü coast. Around midnight, a report was made to the police that 'gunshots are being heard on the coast.' Upon receiving the report, district police department teams quickly went to the scene.

TWO PEOPLE FOUND SHOT

The police teams arriving at the scene examined a car parked on the coast. When they opened the door, they encountered two people covered in blood in the front two seats of the vehicle. Ambulance teams were immediately called to the scene. In the meantime, the investigation identified the wounded individuals as 34-year-old Eren Özyurt and 27-year-old Enes Hallaç. The two wounded were taken to the hospital.

COULD NOT BE SAVED

The two wounded friends, who were taken under treatment at the hospital, could not be saved despite all interventions. The examination determined that Özyurt and Hallaç had been shot in the back of the head with a firearm. According to the investigation, the attackers were the person or persons sitting in the back seat.

SECURITY CAMERA FOOTAGE

Following the incident, the District Police Department and the Homicide Bureau teams launched an investigation. The police, who are continuing to work on security camera footage in the area where the incident occurred, are now trying to solve the mystery of the double execution.
