Downpour warning from Meteorology for many cities!

The General Directorate of Meteorology reports that, according to the latest assessments, the country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with local downpours and thunderstorms expected in the Marmara, Aegean, Eastern Mediterranean, the north and east of Central Anatolia, Western Black Sea, the inland parts of the Central Black Sea, Eastern Black Sea (excluding Artvin), the south and west of Eastern Anatolia, Southeastern Anatolia (excluding Kilis and Gaziantep), as well as the surroundings of Erzurum and Muş. 

The precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the surroundings of Thrace, Istanbul, Kocaeli, Bursa, Yalova, Balıkesir, Çanakkale, İzmir, and Manisa, as well as the coastal parts of Aydın and the western coastal districts of Muğla. Local mist and fog are expected during the morning and night hours.

MARMARA

It is expected to be partly to occasionally very cloudy, with intermittent downpours and thunderstorms across the region. Precipitation is expected to be heavy in the surroundings of Thrace, Istanbul, Kocaeli, Bursa, Yalova, Balıkesir, and Çanakkale. Local mist and fog are expected during the morning and night hours.
