Driver dies after car falls into the sea while maneuvering in İzmir
In an incident in İzmir, a driver fell into the sea while maneuvering their vehicle. The driver, who was receiving treatment at the hospital, has passed away.
The incident occurred yesterday at the Alsancak Port in İzmir. According to allegations, the vehicle driven by 40-year-old engineer Doruk Yormaz fell into the sea during a maneuver. Upon notification by workers in the vicinity, police, fire department, and 112 Emergency Health teams were dispatched to the scene. While the vehicle was removed from the sea with the help of a crane by the teams arriving at the scene, Yormaz, whose condition was critical, was taken by ambulance to Alsancak Nevvar Salih İşgören State Hospital. Following his treatment there, Doruk Yormaz, who remained in life-threatening condition, was transferred to Bozyaka Training and Research Hospital.
