Upon learning that he would be subjected to an alcohol test, the driver first pretended he could not blow into the breathalyzer. After learning that his license would be suspended for 2 years if he did not blow, Ramazan K. pleaded with the police teams before blowing into the device, saying, "I saw it in my dream, and God showed it to me."

Ramazan K., who blew into the breathalyzer, was found to have 1.33 promille alcohol. Checks revealed that Ramazan K. had previously had his license revoked. The intoxicated driver was fined 30,111 Turkish Lira for the offenses of 'driving without a license' and 'driving under the influence.'
