Driver who ignored 'stop' order fined 74 thousand 767 liras
In Çorum, an unlicensed driver who ignored a police 'stop' order and endangered traffic safety was issued a total administrative fine of 74 thousand 767 liras.
According to the information obtained, a car with license plate 19 ACB 548 in Çorum's Small Industrial Site (Küçük Sanayi Sitesi) ignored a police 'stop' order and attempted to flee from the checkpoint. The driver, who entered the wrong way on Vatan Street in the Gülabibey neighborhood, was apprehended by police teams in a short time.
During the checks, it was determined that the driver did not have a driver's license. The driver and 3 people in the vehicle were taken to the police station to have their statements taken.
The driver, who endangered traffic safety and drove without a license, was issued a total administrative fine of 74 thousand 767 liras for driving in the wrong direction, performing donuts, and failing to comply with the 'stop' order.
