14 people, including figures from the worlds of sports, high society, and entertainment, who were detained as part of a drug investigation, were referred to the Istanbul Courthouse this morning.

Drug investigation: Detained celebrities referred to the courthouse

As part of a drug investigation targeting famous figures in Istanbul, former Beşiktaş president Fikret Orman, businessman Hakan Sabancı, model Didem Soydan, former Galatasaray president Burak Elmas, former model and presenter Güzide Duran, and Kerim Sabancı were detained in an operation conducted overnight. The operation, in which a total of 14 people were detained, was organized under the coordination of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

The detained suspects were taken to the Council of Forensic Medicine in the morning under police escort, where they provided blood and hair samples.

Following the completion of procedures at the police station and health checks, the famous figures were referred to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan.
