Drug traffickers continue to be removed from Turkey
Aynabat Yegenova, a Turkmenistan national wanted for drug trafficking, has been detained in an operation conducted in Ankara.
Aynabat Yegenova, who was wanted with a red notice by Turkmen judicial authorities for "drug trafficking," was captured in a successful operation by teams from the Ankara Police Department's Narcotics Crimes Investigation Branch.
Yegenova, who was detained as a result of the operation carried out in Ankara's Keçiören district, was taken to the Ankara Narcotics Crimes Investigation Branch for processing. It was reported that the judicial process regarding the suspect, for whom Turkmenistan had issued an international arrest warrant, is ongoing.
It was stated that operations aimed at capturing criminals wanted with red notices in Turkey are being carried out with determination.
