ABB Mayor Yavaş stated in a post on his social media account, "I convey my best wishes to all our citizens affected by the earthquake that occurred in Ankara. As of now, no reports of any negative incidents have reached us."

The Ankara Governor's Office made a post regarding the earthquake. The post included the following statements:
