Earthquake warning from the Governor's Office: Do not enter damaged buildings
Following the 6.2 magnitude earthquake, the Istanbul Governor's Office has called on citizens not to enter damaged buildings, to avoid traffic unless necessary, and to refrain from using mobile phone lines unnecessarily.
A statement was made on the Governor's Office's social media account regarding the 6.2 magnitude earthquake, which had its epicenter in the Sea of Marmara, off the Silivri district of Istanbul.
