Ekrem İmamoğlu's reaction to the Cabinet in Esenyurt: 'The 17 friends who came from Ankara...'

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu made statements at the opening event of Yaşar Kemal Square in Esenyurt.

Reminding that there is little time left until the March 31 local elections, İmamoğlu said, "The guardian of Istanbul is all of Istanbul. We will not eat anyone's rights, nor will we let anyone's rights be eaten."

"THE 17 FRIENDS WHO CAME FROM ANKARA..."

Referring to the propaganda ban for ministers as required by the Election Law 10 days before the elections, İmamoğlu reacted to the ministers who are in the field for the election.

In his speech, where he said, "Who is the Cabinet? Those 17 friends who came from Ankara, I don't know them," İmamoğlu also stated the following:

Using the expression "If I don't love the 16 million people of this city equally, one by one, I am a scoundrel," İmamoğlu added, "All the voices and all the colors of this city meet in these squares. The name Yaşar Kemal will suit these squares very well."
