Election propaganda period ended as of 18:00

The freedom of propaganda, which began on March 21 within the framework of the Supreme Election Council's election calendar, ended as of 18:00. Election bans will begin at 23:59.

Election propaganda period ended as of 18:00

The election calendar announced by the Supreme Election Council (YSK) continues to proceed. According to the calendar, the freedom of propaganda that began on March 21 ended as of 18:00.

During this period, political parties and independent candidates participating in the election will not be able to conduct verbal, written, or visual propaganda through advertisements in the written press or by launching websites until a date to be announced by the YSK.

SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WILL BE PROHIBITED

Election bans will end on March 31 at 23:59. On March 31, the day of the election, in accordance with the YSK decision, alcoholic beverages cannot be sold from 06:00 to 00:00, and the serving and consumption of alcoholic beverages in public places and establishments serving alcohol will be prohibited.

Entertainment venues will remain closed during voting hours, and only food may be served in restaurants that function as entertainment venues.

No one other than those tasked with maintaining security and public order will be allowed to carry weapons. On the day of voting, weddings may be held after 18:00, provided that election bans and specified rules are followed.

BROADCASTS WILL BE PERMITTED AFTER 21:00

Until 18:00 on the day of voting, it will be prohibited for radios and all types of media outlets to broadcast news, predictions, and commentary regarding the elections and election results.

After 18:00 and until 21:00, only news and communiqués regarding the elections issued by the YSK may be broadcast on radios and all types of media outlets.

After 21:00, all broadcasts will be permitted; however, if the YSK deems it necessary, it may decide to allow broadcasts before 21:00 as well.
