'Eminanç Brothers' gang dismantled

Comprehensive operations were carried out by the Gendarmerie General Command against members of the 'Eminanç Brothers' organized crime group, led by B.E. and F.E. in Istanbul.

Under the coordination of the Küçükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and the Gendarmerie General Command's Department of Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime, 5 suspects were apprehended as a result of a simultaneous operation conducted by the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command at 11 different addresses targeting the organized crime group.

It was determined that the apprehended members of the organized crime group planned armed attacks using income derived from drug trafficking in Istanbul, carried out armed attacks on numerous businesses for the purpose of intimidation and extortion, and obtained financial gain through armed threats.

As a result of the operation, a large number of unlicensed pistols, various amounts of cash, numerous digital materials, pistol cartridges, and sharp/piercing tools were seized.

Eminanç Brothers organized crime group members have been the target of a total of 7 operations conducted at different times to date. In these operations, 80 suspects were apprehended, 74 were arrested, and judicial control decisions were issued for 6.
