EMRA's decision on diesel and gasoline prices published in the Official Gazette

The Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) has decided that there will be no price difference for additive-enhanced diesel and gasoline, and that a single price will be applied.

The decision, published in the Official Gazette, will take effect on May 15.

BOARD DECISION REGARDING THE AMENDMENT TO BOARD DECISION NO. 8730 ON DIFFERENTIATED FUELS

ARTICLE 1 - Clause (a) of the first paragraph of Article 3 of the Board Decision No. 8730 on Differentiated Fuels, published in the Official Gazette dated 24/7/2019 and numbered 30841, has been repealed.

ARTICLE 2 - The second, fifth, and sixth paragraphs of Article 6 of the same Decision have been repealed, and the following paragraph has been added to the same article: "(8) In sales made at fuel stations, no price difference can be applied for the same type of fuel, whether it is differentiated or not."

ARTICLE 3 - The second paragraph of Article 7 of the same Decision has been repealed.

ARTICLE 4 - The phrase "Will it be used as DKA?(3): Yes/No" in the Differentiated Fuel Information Form located in Annex-1 of the same Decision, and the phrase "(3) Information regarding whether it will be sold as fuel reported to the Authority as 'Other' and subject to a price difference" located at the bottom of the same Form have been repealed.

ARTICLE 5 - The phrase "Fuel subject to a price difference can only be supplied upon the consumer's request" in the Differentiated Product Information Text located in Annex-2 of the same Decision has been repealed.

ARTICLE 6 - This Decision shall enter into force on 15/5/2024.

ARTICLE 7 - The provisions of this Decision shall be executed by the President of the Energy Market Regulatory Authority.

Board Decision from the Energy Market Regulatory Authority;

At the meeting of the Energy Market Regulatory Board dated 02/05/2024; it has been decided to approve the amendment of the storage tariff for the Antalya Terminal Storage Facility, operated by Petrol Ofisi Anonim Şirketi at the address of Liman Mahallesi Liman 2 Caddesi No:7 Konyaaltı/ANTALYA within the scope of Storage License No. DEP/474-3/10361, as shown in the attachment.
