President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron. During the call, bilateral relations between Turkey and France, as well as regional and global issues, were discussed.

DETAILS OF THE CALL ANNOUNCED

According to a statement from the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, Erdoğan emphasized that Turkey continues its efforts to end the Russia-Ukraine war and ensure a just peace. Stating that Turkey has assumed an important role in bringing the warring parties to the negotiating table, Erdoğan drew attention to the importance of initiating a negotiation process that includes both countries involved in the conflict.
