Erdoğan gets angry on stage: He pointed to the children

President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with disabled citizens at the “Barrier-Free Turkey Program” held at his party's Congress Center.

During the program, awards and gifts were distributed, and children who came onto the stage sang songs for Palestine.

A person repeatedly calling out for help during Erdoğan’s speech and the award ceremony caused tension. President Erdoğan made it clear that he was annoyed by the situation through both his facial expressions and hand gestures.

HE GAVE INSTRUCTIONS AFTER THE STAGE EVENT

At the end of the program, Erdoğan called the person who had been calling out to him over to his side and instructed AKP Social Policies Head Betül Sayan Kaya to evaluate the request for help. After taking a photo with a disabled child brought onto the stage, Erdoğan had a brief conversation with the person who had requested help.

Footage showed Erdoğan appearing to take money out of his pocket to give to the person requesting help, only to change his mind at the last moment and put it back in his pocket. It was stated that Erdoğan gave instructions for the assistance to be organized through Sayan Kaya.
