Erdoğan holds talks with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte called President Erdoğan by phone on his way back from a summit with the President of the United States and EU leaders.
According to a statement issued by the Directorate of Communications, the latest developments regarding the peace process between Ukraine and Russia were discussed during the meeting.
President Erdoğan and the NATO Secretary General touched upon Turkey's significant role in the Ukraine peace process and the security of the Black Sea.
During the meeting, President Erdoğan and Secretary General Rutte agreed on the contribution of Turkey, one of NATO's most important countries, to the peace process and on close coordination.
Our President and Rutte also exchanged views on viable and sustainable security guarantees.
