Erdoğan issues congratulatory message for TRT's 60th anniversary
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has released a congratulatory message on the occasion of TRT's 60th anniversary.
President Erdoğan included the following statements in his message:
"I congratulate the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT) on its anniversary, which has been presenting its knowledge and experience to our citizens for 60 years with a responsible, impartial, and principled approach to journalism.
Possessing a strong and effective corporate structure that competently utilizes all the new opportunities required by modern digital broadcasting, TRT makes us proud with the level it has reached in the field of broadcasting.
Mindful of the responsibility that comes with public service broadcasting, TRT continues to reflect our country's values, history, culture, strength, and voice to the entire world with its dynamic structure and pioneering broadcasting experience.
Continuing to set an example with all its channels—from news to sports, music to documentaries, and children's programming to culture—TRT serves as a school for the sector in our country and plays an important role in the training of valuable television and radio professionals in this field.
I believe that the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation will continue all these successful efforts in the future as well. On the occasion of its anniversary, I congratulate all employees of the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation and greet them with my most heartfelt feelings."
