Erdoğan meets with Aliyev and Sharif

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan continues his contacts in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, where he arrived for the 24th Meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. President Erdoğan met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The trilateral meeting was held at the hotel where President Erdoğan is staying.
At the beginning of the meeting, President Erdoğan said to Aliyev, whom he welcomed, "You look very energetic, mashallah," to which Aliyev replied, "It is upon seeing you."
Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, and Chief Advisor to the President on Foreign Policy and Security Ambassador Akif Çağatay Kılıç were also present at the meeting.
