Erdoğan meets with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed the course of the Ukraine-Russia war as well as regional and global issues.
According to a statement from the Presidential Communications Directorate, President Erdoğan held a meeting with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy in Washington, D.C., where he was attending the NATO Summit of Heads of State and Government.
During the meeting, where the course of the Ukraine-Russia war and regional and global issues were discussed, Erdoğan stated that Turkey continues its efforts to ensure the Ukraine-Russia war concludes with a just peace, and that work has begun to revive the Black Sea Grain Initiative.
President Erdoğan also noted that Turkey is ready for all kinds of initiatives, including mediation, to establish a foundation for peace.
