Erdoğan mentions Kılıçdaroğlu without naming him: 'CHP's reconciliation theater has been completely shelved'

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women program at the Presidential Palace.

Speaking there about violence against women, Erdoğan targeted the CHP.

Referring to the 7th Chairman of the CHP, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, without naming him, Erdoğan reacted to the current Chairman Özgür Özel and stated, "We see that with the forced retirement of the former chairman through an intra-party coup and the completion of the election process, the CHP's reconciliation theater has been completely shelved."

Highlights from Erdoğan's remarks are as follows:

"This must be understood once and for all: if not a single sentence is uttered on any platform where violence against women is discussed regarding those who take the lives of women or those who forcibly abduct our young girls to the mountains, then there is a great hypocrisy at play.

Those who ignore every kind of human rights violation, from rape to execution within the separatist terrorist organization, can never be concerned with women.

The sincerity of those who turn a deaf ear to the cries of the Diyarbakır Mothers is, of course, questionable.

Why does CHP leader Özel withhold a greeting from the heartbroken Diyarbakır Mothers while running to show solidarity with those who have surrendered their will to the commissars of the separatist organization?

Why has the CHP administration, which confines women's rights to the Istanbul Convention, remained indifferent to the pain of these heroic mothers for years? What will the CHP gain by denying the suffering endured by hundreds of thousands of women on February 28? When will the CHP face its fascist history? When will it abandon the politics of provocation? When will it make peace with the nation and the nation's values?

When will it bid farewell to its misogynistic rhetoric?

We see that with the forced retirement of the former chairman through an intra-party coup and the completion of the election process, the CHP's reconciliation theater has been completely shelved."
