Erdoğan takes aim at CHP leader Özgür Özel without naming him during opening ceremony in Antalya

President Erdoğan made statements at the opening of the new terminal at Antalya Airport.

Highlights from President Erdoğan's remarks are as follows:

"Distinguished guests, our Antalya, the pearl of the Mediterranean, hosts domestic and foreign tourists every year.

The interest in our city is so high that our Antalya Airport has been serving passengers above its 35 million capacity for the last two years.

It is understood that we will exceed 40 million people this year. We have taken steps to increase the capacity of our Antalya Airport, which is serving 12% above its current capacity.

"WE ARE IMPLEMENTING THEM ONE BY ONE"

We will increase the number of airports from 58 to 60 with our Yozgat, Bayburt, and Gümüşhane airports, which are currently under construction.

We not only dream big for Turkey, but we also turn these into major goals.

Then, we implement these goals one by one.

"CANNOT UNDERSTAND THIS VISION"

We are trying to live up to being a member of a nation that is great with its history, great with its conscience, and great with its claims.

We are striving to be worthy of our nation's favor.

I would also like to specifically state that those who complain about their country to others cannot understand this vision.

"WE WILL CONTINUE WITH DETERMINATION"

Those who bow and bend before the West cannot understand our upright stance.

Those who attempt to assassinate their own economy under the pretext of a boycott cannot understand this.

We leave them alone with their quarrels in their own small worlds and, as always, we focus on our work.

Just as we did today, and as we did at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, we are looking to increase Turkey's reputation.

We will continue to work for our country and produce for Turkey with determination.

May the Lord be our helper and supporter. I hope that our new terminal buildings and new structures will bring goodness to our city and our country."
