Erdoğan to attend July 15 program at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey

The Grand National Assembly of Turkey will host a commemoration program for the 10th anniversary of the FETÖ coup attempt as part of the July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day. AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is expected to attend the program, which will be hosted by Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş.

According to the program shared by the TBMM, events held throughout the day will honor the martyrs who lost their lives during the coup attempt, and the stance taken by the Parliament against the coup attempt and the struggle against the attack on the national will will be commemorated through various activities.

COMMEMORATION PROGRAM TO BEGIN AT THE MOSQUE

The program will begin at 12:30 PM with a Mevlid-i Şerif (recitation of the Prophet's birth poem) to be held at the TBMM Mosque for the martyrs and veterans who have passed away. Afterward, carnations will be laid at the TBMM July 15 Martyrs' Monument and the Memorial Stone located in the Main Building's Hall of Honor.

THREE DIFFERENT EXHIBITIONS TO BE OPENED

As part of the events, the "July 15 Victory of National Will Digital Exhibition" will be opened in the TBMM Hall of Honor. Additionally, the "Exhibition of Encouragement to Art and Life Through Art in Memory of the 10th Anniversary of July 15," prepared by the Ministry of Family and Social Services, and the Press Advertisement Agency's "July 15 Headlines Journalism Workshop Exhibition" will be opened to visitors.

ERDOĞAN EXPECTED TO ATTEND THE CEREMONY

The commemoration program will continue with the "July 15 Commemoration Ceremony" to be held in the TBMM Ceremony Hall. Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan are expected to address the participants at the ceremony.
