Erdoğan warns of a threat greater than war
President and AKP Chairman Erdoğan issued a warning regarding declining birth rates in Turkey, stating, "We must increase our own population with our own people."
President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made statements regarding the declining birth rates and the slowing population growth rate in Turkey.
Describing this situation as "a threat to our country far more significant than war," Erdoğan pointed out that the issue is a strategic matter of national security.
Erdoğan stated, "We must increase our own population with our own people. We have taken a series of measures and have begun to implement them. However, this issue is not one that can be solved solely with financial incentives. It is also a vision of civilization," he said.
"THERE ARE DEFENDERS OF GENDERLESSNESS POLICIES IN THE OPPOSITION"
President Erdoğan continued his remarks as follows:
"The mentality of separating humans, who are naturally composed of men and women, and making them rivals and enemies of each other, and pitting them against one another, does not belong to our civilization."
