Holiday diplomacy from Erdoğan

Holiday diplomacy from Erdoğan

President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan continued his intense diplomatic traffic on the first day of the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

One of the agenda items in the meetings, where bilateral relations as well as regional and global issues were discussed, was Israel's attacks on Gaza.

In his meetings with the leaders of Turkmenistan, Algeria, Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Oman, Malaysia, Pakistan, and Kyrgyzstan, Erdoğan conveyed his holiday greetings.

Turkmenistan leader Berdimuhamedov

In his meeting with Turkmenistan's National Leader and Chairman of the People's Council Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President Erdoğan stated that efforts will continue to further advance cooperation between Turkey and Turkmenistan in every field.

Algerian President Tebboune

Speaking over the phone with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Erdoğan expressed that they will continue to strive to develop relations between Turkey and Algeria through steps to be taken and upcoming visits.

Erdoğan noted that they will continue to work together with Algeria to stop the ongoing Israeli attacks in Palestine and to ensure a ceasefire.

Indonesian President Subianto

One of the leaders President Erdoğan spoke with by phone was Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.

In the meeting, where regional and global issues were also addressed, Erdoğan stated that relations between Turkey and Indonesia are developing in a satisfactory direction and that this will continue through mutual visits and steps that increase cooperation.

Uzbek President Mirziyoyev

In his meeting with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President Erdoğan expressed his satisfaction with the strengthening of the two countries' comprehensive strategic partnership day by day and stated that cooperation will continue to increase in the coming period.

Kazakh President Tokayev

Erdoğan also spoke by phone with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. During the meeting, bilateral relations between Turkey and Kazakhstan, as well as regional and global issues, were discussed.

Sultan of Oman Al Said

President Erdoğan held a phone conversation with the Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tariq bin Taymur Al Said.

During the meeting, Erdoğan said that the holiday was being observed with a heavy heart due to Israel's atrocities in Gaza and that Turkey would continue its solidarity with Palestine on every platform.

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim

One of the leaders President Erdoğan spoke with by phone was Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

In the meeting, where Erdoğan conveyed that the humanitarian crisis in Palestine is deepening and that it is important to stand united against Israeli aggression and increase efforts to ensure peace through a permanent ceasefire, bilateral relations between Turkey and Malaysia, as well as regional and global issues, were discussed.

Pakistani Prime Minister Sharif

In his phone call with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, President Erdoğan noted that Turkey will not leave Gaza, which is under Israeli oppression, alone and will continue to advocate for the just cause of Palestine.

Kyrgyz President Japarov

In the meeting between Erdoğan and Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, bilateral relations between Turkey and the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as regional and global issues, were discussed.

President Erdoğan added that the two countries will continue to develop their cooperation in every field.
