Super Cup message from Erdoğan! Are you ready for April 7?

President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke at the rally in Şanlıurfa.

Erdoğan touched upon the following topics:

"Our Şanlıurfa, which raises polar stars with its scholars and poets, and which has earned its name, reputation, and glory by putting its heart into everything, is once again beautiful today, mashallah. A century ago, the people of Urfa earned the title 'Şanlı' (Glorious) by driving the occupying French forces out of these sacred lands. Today, I believe that you will not give way to those who act out of personal ambition, those who lean on terrorist organizations, those who seek to reap without sowing, those who jeopardize the future of their city for small calculations, and in short, to opportunists who want to circumvent the national will. Our country could not recover for years from the wreckage left behind in the economy by populist politicians. Our nation could not recover itself for many years, could not stand back up. Now we see that there are those trying to revive the same mentality. As I was coming onto the stage, I said, 'Get a figure from the police. How many people are in the area?' I got the figure; the figure given for the area right now is 70 thousand. This is what suits Şanlıurfa anyway.

Our politics is a politics of works and services. We recognize no political rival that can compete with us in vision, program, projects, and investment. Behind this self-confidence lies our 30-year track record in local government and over 21 years in power. This brother of yours is the President of Turkey. Now, when you entrust local governments to the People's Alliance on March 31, we will be one, we will be great, we will be vibrant, and we will make Şanlıurfa even more distinct with investments that befit its glory.

It is already clear that those who bluster in the squares and in the media will not fulfill anything they have promised our nation. What is truly important is which of the things the nation already possesses they intend to take away. Because that is how it has always been in the past. We experienced this painfully again in the latest 2019 elections. They made a lot of promises, gave a lot of words in the squares, but in the end, they did none of them. They even took our cities much further back in many areas. Because the issue is not making promises, but keeping the promise made. In politics, what matters is being a person of one's word.

I would like to state this clearly and plainly. As an administration that has increased our country's national income 3-fold in 21 years, every problem of our citizens is our problem. We possess the program and the determination to solve the problems of our people from every segment, including workers, retirees, tradesmen, farmers, and industrialists.
