Erkan Baş: 'Constitutional Court's Can Atalay ruling was unanimous'
TİP Chairman Erkan Baş announced that the Constitutional Court's second ruling of rights violation regarding Can Atalay was reached unanimously.
TİP Chairman Erkan Baş highlighted a significant detail in a statement on his social media account regarding the Constitutional Court's second ruling of rights violation for Can Atalay.
Baş stated the following:
"I would like to share an important detail regarding what has been written about the Can Atalay ruling. According to the short-form decision we received, the violation of the 'right to individual application' due to the non-implementation of the first rights violation ruling, as well as the release order, were decided unanimously by the members of the Constitutional Court.
The Constitutional Court has assessed that 'a retrial must be held at the 13th High Criminal Court, the execution of the sentence must be suspended, release must be granted, and a stay of proceedings must be issued in the retrial.'"
