Explosion at a school in Ordu! Holiday prevents a major disaster
A gas leak from a kitchen cylinder caused an explosion that resulted in extensive damage at a school in the İkizce district of Ordu. The fact that no one was at the school due to the holiday prevented a potential tragedy.
The incident occurred at İkizce Anatolian Imam Hatip High School. According to the information obtained, the explosion took place in the cafeteria section while no one was at the school due to the holiday. Upon notification, fire and police teams were dispatched to the area. Police and fire crews arriving at the scene conducted investigations in the cafeteria section. Following the explosion caused by the cylinder leak, the school's windows, doors, and a large part of the cafeteria were damaged.
