The number of workers injured in an explosion at the Tosyalı Iron and Steel Plant, operated by Tosyalı Holding in the İskenderun district of Hatay, has risen to 13, with reports indicating that 2 workers are in critical condition. Security camera footage of the moment of the explosion has emerged.
It has been learned that the number of workers injured in an explosion that occurred in the steel mill facilities of the Tosyalı Iron and Steel Plant, operated by Tosyalı Holding in the Organized Industrial Zone in İskenderun, has risen to 13.
Upon notification of the situation to the 112 emergency call center, medical teams were dispatched to the scene in a short time.
It was learned that 9 workers are being treated at İskenderun State Hospital and 4 at Dörtyol State Hospital, and that 2 workers have been intubated.
The prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into the explosion. The moment of the explosion was recorded by a security camera.
Four workers were also injured in another explosion that occurred at the Tosyalı Iron and Steel Plant approximately 2 months ago.
