Expulsion request for CHP member who wrote news about Chairman Özel and a party mayor

In a statement made from the social media account of the CHP Muratpaşa District Presidency, it was stated that a news article written on October 3, 2024, by a party member registered in the Muratpaşa district, which contained certain allegations regarding Chairman Özgür Özel and a party mayor, had become a subject of public debate.

In the statement, it was expressed that the article written by the person in question did not fit the party culture, and the following was noted:

“It has been determined that unsubstantiated allegations were made against the party's chairman and a party mayor that would belittle our party in the eyes of the public. In this direction, as the CHP Muratpaşa District Presidency, we present to the information of the press and the public that, as a result of the decision we took on October 4, 2024, the member named Ebru Küçükaydın, who published the relevant news, has been referred to disciplinary action with a request for permanent expulsion with precautionary measures.”

CHP Antalya Provincial Chairman Nail Kamacı stated in his announcement that they had forwarded the expulsion request they received to the disciplinary board with a cover letter.
