Intensive security measures were taken in the area ahead of Pope Leo XIV's visit to the Blue Mosque.
Pope Leo XIV, who is making his first official visit to Turkey, continues his contacts in Istanbul. After the service in İznik, Pope Leo XIV returned to Istanbul in the evening and visited the Blue Mosque in the morning hours.
