Failed to heed 'stop' order, fined thousands of liras

In Çorum, an unlicensed driver who failed to heed a "stop" order from police teams and endangered traffic safety was issued a total of 74 thousand 767 liras in administrative fines.

According to the information obtained, a car with the license plate 19 ACB 548 in Çorum's Small Industrial Site failed to heed a "stop" order from police teams and attempted to flee from the checkpoint.

The driver, who entered the wrong way on Vatan Street in the Gülabibey neighborhood, was caught by police teams in a short time. During the checks, it was determined that the driver was unlicensed. The driver and 3 people in the vehicle were taken to the police station to have their statements taken.

The driver, who endangered traffic safety and drove without a license, was issued a total administrative fine of 74 thousand 767 liras for driving in the wrong direction, performing donuts, and failing to heed the "stop" order.
