Fakir fined 26 million TL for competition violation
Fakir Elektrikli Ev Aletleri has been fined 26 million lira for violating competition rules.
The Competition Board determined that Fakir Elektrikli Ev Aletleri facilitated an indirect exchange of information between Teknosa, Vatan Bilgisayar, and MediaMarkt, thereby forming a cartel and setting the resale prices for its retailers.
Following the investigation launched due to these violations, Fakir Elektrikli Ev Aletleri chose the settlement path.
As part of the settlement process, a 25 percent discount was applied to the administrative fine imposed by the Competition Board. Consequently, the company was fined approximately 26 million lira, and the investigation was concluded in this manner.
