Faruk Koca referred to disciplinary board for expulsion from AKP
Ankaragücü Club President Faruk Koca, who attacked referee Meler, has been referred to the disciplinary board for expulsion from the AKP.
MKE Ankaragücü Club President Faruk Koca punched referee Halil Umut Meler on the pitch following their 1-1 draw against Çaykur Rizespor in the 15th week of the Trendyol Super League.
Following the incident, a detention order was issued for Faruk Koca, and an announcement came from the AKP stating that former MP Faruk Koca had been referred to the disciplinary board with a request for his expulsion.
In the statement made by the AKP, it was noted that Koca, who attacked Meler after the MKE Ankaragücü-Çaykur Rizespor match, was referred to the disciplinary board with a request for his expulsion from the party, and that the matter would be discussed by the Central Decision and Executive Board (MKYK).
