In the Alaşehir district of Manisa, a man who had an argument with his wife locked her and their 9-month-old baby in a room and set the house on fire.
The incident occurred in the Şeyhsinan neighborhood of Alaşehir district. According to the information obtained, an argument broke out between Ü.D. and his wife E.D. During the argument, an enraged Ü.D. locked his wife E.D. and their 9-month-old baby A.D. in a room and set the house on fire.
Neighbors who saw the smoke rising from the house notified the fire department.
The teams that arrived at the scene entered the room where E.D. and her 9-month-old baby were locked in using a fire ladder.
While the mother and her baby were rescued by the fire department, the father, Ü.D., was affected by the smoke. Ü.D. was taken to the hospital by 112 Emergency Service teams that arrived at the scene.
While the fire was extinguished by the fire department, an investigation into the incident has been launched.
