Fatih Altaylı reacts to the provocation against Özgür Özel at a martyr's funeral! He recalled the scandals of the peace process

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel attended the funeral ceremony of martyr Infantry Contracted Private Enis Budak in Manisa.

A group at the mosque provoked the martyr's funeral by chanting slogans against Özel.

Journalist Fatih Altaylı reacted to the attack on Özel in the section of his article today titled “Is it genuine anger or provocation!”.

HE RECALLED THE SCANDALS OF THE PEACE PROCESS

Recalling the scandals caused by the AKP government during the peace process, Altaylı stated, “You would think it was the CHP, it was Özgür Özel, who sent the state's prosecutors and judges to the feet of PKK members at Habur, welcomed them with ceremonies, and released them after a sham interrogation.”

The relevant part of Altaylı's article is as follows;

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel could not attend the funeral of that young man with whom he had taken a photo while he was alive. He was booed by a group of provocateurs.

This is the first and most concrete political result of this attack.

You would think it was the CHP and Özgür Özel who initiated a peace process called the “opening process,” gave instructions to governors to “not allow operations,” confined the military to their barracks, and entrusted the streets, and almost the civil service and the judiciary, to the mercy of the PKK.

You would think it was the CHP that had songs sung like “Megri Megri” with Şivan Perver and İbrahim Tatlıses on a podium set up in Diyarbakır, and it was Özgür Özel who accompanied this song that cursed the Turkish soldier.

Those who did not say a word to all of this back then are attacking Kılıçdaroğlu yesterday and Özgür Özel today."
